1. Introduction
Welcome to CineRush, a mobile app for discovering and watching entertainment content. “CineRush,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the developer of the app and the operator of cinerush.stream.
CineRush does not require you to create an account. We do not intentionally ask for passwords, contacts, call logs, SMS, health data, precise GPS location, camera, microphone, or personal files for the core viewing experience.
2. Information we may collect
The exact data depends on the app version, device settings, consent choices, and the Firebase or Adjust features enabled in the production build.
App, device, and usage data
- App version, device model, operating system, language, time zone, network type, IP address, and similar technical information.
- App launches, sessions, screens viewed, playback interactions, watch progress, and other events that we choose to measure.
- Pseudonymous identifiers such as a Firebase installation/app-instance identifier or Android Advertising ID when an enabled SDK can access it.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive the email address and the information you choose to include. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
We do not intentionally collect payment-card numbers. If a future version offers purchases, the relevant app store or payment provider processes the transaction under its own terms.
3. Firebase and Adjust SDKs
CineRush may use the following services. Only the modules enabled in the released build apply.
| Service | Possible data and purpose |
|---|---|
| Firebase | Crashlytics may receive crash stack traces, relevant app state, device metadata, and an installation identifier to diagnose reliability. If Firebase Analytics is enabled, it may receive pseudonymous app events, app-instance information, and device/usage data to understand performance and feature use. |
| Adjust | Adjust may process install, session, campaign, and in-app event data together with device/app metadata, IP-derived country or region, and the Android Advertising ID when available, to measure marketing attribution and protect measurement integrity. |
For additional technical details, see the Firebase Android data disclosure documentation and the Adjust Android SDK guide.
4. Android permissions
The Firebase and Adjust integrations may use these normal, SDK-related permissions when their features are enabled:
android.permission.INTERNET— send crash, analytics, attribution, and service requests.android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— determine whether a network connection is available before sending data.com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID— read the resettable Android Advertising ID for attribution or advertising measurement when available. The SDK may add this permission through manifest merging.
These are not runtime prompts like camera or microphone access. CineRush does not intentionally request sensitive runtime permissions for core viewing. If a later feature needs one, we will explain the reason in context and update this policy.
5. How we use information
- Provide and maintain playback, navigation, preferences, and basic service functionality.
- Diagnose crashes, errors, performance issues, and abuse.
- Understand feature usage and improve content discovery where enabled.
- Measure marketing campaigns and installations through Adjust where enabled.
- Respond to support, privacy, and copyright requests.
- Comply with law and protect the service, users, and our rights.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we may rely on consent, performance of a requested service, legitimate interests, or legal obligations.
7. Advertising and app-ads.txt
CineRush may show advertising depending on the production configuration, region, and consent choices. Advertising partners may use resettable device identifiers, approximate region, ad interactions, and fraud-prevention signals. You can manage Android advertising settings and any in-app controls provided by CineRush.
Authorized sellers are listed in the root-level app-ads.txt file. Before production verification, the file must contain the exact seller lines supplied by the relevant ad network account.
8. Your choices, security, and retention
- Reset or limit the Android Advertising ID through Android or Google settings.
- Clear CineRush app data or uninstall the app to remove local data and stop collection from that installation.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection where those rights apply.
We use reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS/TLS, access controls, and restricted provider access. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
9. Children’s privacy
CineRush is a general-audience entertainment app and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. Parents or guardians may contact us with concerns.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app, SDK configuration, service providers, or law changes. We will publish the new version here and update the “Last updated” date.
